An inventor or other rights holder ["Submitter"] may submit an opportunity  ["Opportunity"] to TECHLINK along with the Qualification Fee.   TECHLINK hires an impartial person with relevant experience ["Reviewer"]  to review the Opportunity and prepare a report ["Report"].  The Report summarizes the quality of the Opportunity and, if appropriate, indicates that the Opportunity is suitable for consideration by TECHLINK Members [i.e. a "Qualified Opportunity"].  The Report is provided to the Submitter and can be shared by the Submitter as it desires, for example, with potential investors or licencees.  Only Qualified Opportunities are eligible for Introduction Services and Matching Services. The Reviewer is contractually bound to TECHLINK and the Submitter to refrain from: (i) any use of the Opportunity, but for use associated with the preparation of the Report; and (ii) any disclosure of the Opportunity to any third party.    

If you wish to use the TECHLINK Qualification Services, follow the steps below:

1. Carefully review the TERMS AND CONDITIONS
   
2. Carefully document your opportunity. Strongly consider putting your opportunity in the form of an offer.  Opportunities that include clear "asks", pricing, freedom-to-operate opinions, patentability opinions and market studies are preferred. TECHLINK is unlikely to qualify a mere description of an idea or business opportunity. Be sure to identify yourself and your authority to present the opportunity, fully. Opportunities that identify the prinicipals of the proponent and are accompanied by police checks and impartial references are preferred.
3. Send your opportunity, along with the Qualification Fee, by Fedex, "Hold at FedEx Location", to:

   If you send an opportunity to TECHLINK, along with the Qualification Fee, you are entering into a contract with TECHLINK that is governed by the contents of this website, inclusive of but not limited to the TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

A party ["Matchseeker"] may, on request  ["Match Request"] and on payment of a Matching Fee, have TECHLINK cross-reference a Qualified Opportunity of that party against the TECHLINK membership database.  TECHLINK will identify ["Match"]the most suitable candidate member in the database, if any, and present the Qualified Opportunity to that candidate.

If TECHLINK determines that there are no suitable candidates in the database, TECHLINK will provide detailed reasons to the Matchseeker.

If the member declines to pursue the Qualified Opportunity, the member must provide meaningful feedback to the Matchseeker and TECHLINK.  If a business relationship is created between the member and the Matchseeker, full details of the relationship i.e. the contract must be disclosed to TECHLINK.

The member is contractually bound to TECHLINK and the Matchseeker to refrain from (I) any use of the Qualified Opportunity, but for use associated with negotiations with Matchseeker and preparation of meaningful feedback; and (ii) any disclosure of the Qualified Opportunity.  

If you wish to use the TECHLINK Matching Services , follow the steps below:

1. Carefully review the TERMS AND CONDITIONS. 
2. Send a Match Request by FedEx, "Hold at FedEx Location" to:

   If you have had many opportunities qualified through TECHLINK, be certain to identify the specific Qualified Opportunity which you wish to be matched. And be certain to include the Matching Fee.
