Our Vision

The Vision is a world in which every good idea has an equitable opportunity for success and in which every business, regardless of size, can compete for good ideas on a level playing field.    In this world, ideas at varying stages of development are exchanged between inventors, promoters, developers and distributors  based upon their needs, interests and capacities, to expedite speed to market and to minimize economic waste.  And participants in the marketplace are provided information and tools to make better decisions.    At the heart of it all is Techlink Innovation Exchange, a not-for-profit established in 2015, which gathers the data and creates the marketplace by providing, on a sustainable, non-profit and even-handed basis, Marketplace Services to those seeking to part with ideas  and Member Services to those able to advance them.

Mike is principle of M.J. Wiebe & Associates Inc., a management consulting company specializing in helping executives to improve their innovation performance and technology commercialization capabilities. He is an authority in new product, service and technology development, innovation strategy and business portfolio management.

Prior to forming his own company, Mike spent 12 years consulting alongside the best innovation thought leaders in the world, including Dr. Robert Cooper, inventor of the globally recognized Stage-Gate® idea-to-launch system. Mike holds a Masters of International Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario Ivey School and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto. He is an accomplished speaker on the topic of innovation, a licensed Professional Engineer and is certified by the Product Development and Management Association as a New Product Development Professional (NPDP).
